CHOIR Rehearsals Resume – Thursdays @ 7:00 pm. All voices welcome.
Men’s Breakfast Group – Saturday, September 12 @ 9:00 am at Salisbury House on Henderson.
Sunday School/Youth Group – resumes Sunday, September 13. As we gather again for the start of another program year, and as Sunday School and Youth Group begin again, we hope you’ll join us before worship to meet one another, visit, and reconnect. Coffee and refreshments will be served in the sanctuary beginning at 9:30 am. Come early if you can, grab your nametag, have a treat, and enjoy visiting!
Welcome & Open House Sunday – Sunday, September 20th with lunch following the worship service. Everyone is invited.
UCW Meeting – Monday, September 21 @ 1:30 pm at the church.
Meat Sale Fundraiser – orders are due Sunday, September 27th with pick-up Friday, October 2nd from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Order forms available here or at the church.
NKUC Groups
Men’s Breakfast Group
- meets the second Saturday of each month (Sept/Oct to June). Meetings will resume Saturday, September 12.
United Church Women
- regularly meet the third Monday of each month (Sept/Oct to June). Meetings will resume Monday, September 21.
Wednesday AM Study Group
- meetings will resume in the fall.
Prayer Shawl Committee – is looking for knitters to help make shawls.
Prayer shawls are made by members of our church and community as part of our pastoral care program. These shawls can be knitted or crocheted in any colour or pattern. They are then blessed and filled with prayers, love and concern for those who receive one due to a loss of a loved one , illness, moving away, recognition of one’s contributions in our church , weddings and birth of a child .They are visible to the right at the front. If you feel the need to give one to someone please contact Peggy, Marvelle or ask anyone in our congregation and they would be glad to assist you.
