The congregation received a special treat this day: The children from the Sunday School presented this year’s Christmas play, Calling All Christmases, during our morning service.
Under the direction of Wilma Fehr, our children took us on a virtual tour of Mexico, England, Sweden, Holland, France, Spain, Germany and Italy.
As we learned about the different Christmas customs and traditions from around the globe, we also discovered that the “Light” of Christmas is the same throughout the Christian world .
We were also reminded that, in the words of one character, “Without the Christ Child, Christmas wouldn’t be.”
To Robin Polley, Wilma Fehr, and the other teachers in the Sunday School program, and to our children . . . A Very Big Thank You from rest of the congregation at North Kildonan United Church.
