Fall 2010 “Krazy Kinfolk–Exploring Dysfunctional Families of the Bible”
Beginning on Wednesday, Octoboer 13, we will begin the first of a six-part study series based on the best selling book by Barbara J. Essex. We will look at the stories of Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar ;Jacob, Leah, and Rachel; Moses, Miriam, and Aaron; Lois, Eunice, and Timothy; Mordecai and Esther; and Mary, Martha, and Lazarus(some of the Bible’s most infamous “dysfunctional” families) in their historical context, and consider what they can teach us about how we relate in our own families.
Approximate Cost: $20.00 per person
